Oh my!  I don’t even know where to start with this fabulous country meets city affair.  Cathy and Michael were both attending Norte Dame, which is where they fell in love. They both had a passion for country music, so wanted to make sure country themes were brought into their wedding style.  There were so many incredible personal touches in their wedding, from the mason jar specialty cocktail, blue grass band, outdoor rocking chair and hay barrel lounge seating to name a few.  They also had eight different styles of chairs and plates and check out their sweet rustic wedding cake.

There were so many thoughtful surprises through out the celebration, for example Cathy’s sister and boyfriend sang with the blue grass band for the bride and grooms first dance.  The mother of the bride also had a surprise slideshow, which she accompanied by singing on of Cathy’s favorite Dixie Chicks songs.  The bride and groom still wanted to incorporate some classic Chicago elements and hosted their reception at Chicago History Museum as well as took some stunning skyline photos at Olive Park.  Country + City Perfection!

I met Brett and Wes last year in Los Angeles and was beyond thrilled when they invited me to document their wedding in Santa Barbara, CA.  It is no secret how much I love California, as it was home to me for over five years.  I have been trying to expand my business to get back shooting out there since it is a place that stirs my creativity.  Everything about California inspires me, the glowing sunsets, the ravishing landscapes and now this couple.  Brett and Wes are not only super attractive, but they are smart kind and loving.  They wed on Firestone Vineyard in Santa Barbara and the backdrop was stunning.  A beautiful couple and lovely scenery made for incredible images!

Be ready to be wowed with the insanely amazing decor from Blair and Shane’s Peninsula wedding.  Blair grew up in the north suburbs and has so many beautiful memories spending time in her family’s back yard and garden area.  Blair dreamed about hosting her wedding at that place that gifted her with such fond memories and after realizing that it wasn’t possible, she opted to have a garden party wedding at the Peninsula.

Blair looked radiant in her Vera Wang gown and also like a classic beauty with her Hollywood Glam hair and back necklace.

Kehoe killed it with the design of this room.  I have seen so many beautiful weddings in my time, and this one left me speechless on so many occasions.  The bursting colors and florals filled the room while a custom dance floor, backdrop, lounge seating and bar added to the uniqueness of the day.  Can we just talk about this floral end piece-I mean come on!?!  Start to finish perfection!

Michael and Mary met while attending a wedding. The first time Michael saw her from across the room, he know he needed to meet her, and soon after, he knew that they were meant to be.  They are a perfect match, not only do they look incredible together, they are sweet and loving and balance each other perfectly.

Their ceremony took place at the Our Lady of Perputual Help in Glenview, which is one of the most beautiful churches in the city.  The reception was lovely at the Beau Jolie filled with hues of purple and crystals.

Not only did Michael and Mary offer an amazing Italian style wedding dinner, but all hosted a Gelato Bar featuring gelato from their own company Gelato D-Oro.  Not only did they did start their life together as a married couple, but they also started a new business adventure.  Please follow them on twitter to check out where their Gelato truck will be located throughout the city.

What can I say about these two other than they are completely adorable and totally in love!  I was so excited when Ashley and Kevin invited me to document their wedding in Galena.  This was my first time shooting there and it was so incredible.  Not only did they have the most fun wedding party of all time, but also we were able to shoot at so many unique locations including a barn and vineyard.

Ashley was such a stunning bride and multiple toasts were given to include stories of Kevin’s Abercrombie modeling days.  These two are as sweet as they are good looking.

One of my favorite parts of their wedding was their centerpieces.  Ashley is a teacher and had asked her students what loves means to them.  Each table had a different quote from one of her students.  It is truly amazing to see what love means from the eyes of a little one.
