My jaw literally dropped when I saw how absolutely stunning Nicole looked in her wedding gown.  I have known Nicole for over a decade, and never have I seen her more gorgeous and happy than on the day that she married her one true love Adam.  Everything about them together is perfect, their love for each other, the way they make each other smile and together they make up one of the best looking couple ever!

Epic’s long tables were filled with soft florals and romantic lighting and the reception was filled with so much laughter and love celebrating Nicole and Adam!

When I walked into the bridal suite at the Peninsula and saw Jane’s gown my jaw dropped.  It was so fresh, so unique and I knew that was an indication of how the day was going to run.

Jane is one of the most gracious people I have ever known.  Her wedding day should have been all about her, but she focused so much on her friends and family around her, making sure that they were happy and they had everything they needed and complimenting them.  She has an infectious and endearing laugh that makes you want to hear more.

Connor and Jane’s wedding celebration was filled with friends and family that flew in from around the world, a true testament to who they are.  A beautiful ceremony was followed by a reception room filled with fresh centerpieces including accents of lemons and limes, a perfect tribute to a spring wedding. Toasts were made in the bride and groom’s honors addressing their love specifically highlighting Jane’s smile and kindness and Connors loyalty, determination and chiseled bone structure.

Although the inside of the Peninsula screamed spring wedding, Mother Nature had a different plan.  Not surprisingly since it is Chicago’s longest winter, we were blessed with a light snowfall.  Their guests may not have agreed with me because I was happy to see snow because we were able to capture a dreamy snowfall nightspot to end a dreamy celebration.

Listen up ladies, you can meet your prince charming anywhere, I mean AN-Y-WHERE!  Tahani and Derek were both traveling north on the Red line when the train car hit a bump and Tahani jolted into Derek’s lap.  The annoyance caused by the sudden moment was immediately calmed when she looked up to realize the lap she landed in belonged to a dark and handsome man.  Derek was immediately smitten and couldn’t stop stealing glances at this beauty on the train.  He wrote his number on a piece of paper and as his hand sweated he tried to figure out a good time to offer a date.  Time was up and as Tahani was walking off the train she looked back and flashed a smile at the Derek before she exited.  That smile was the smile he needed to gather the courage to run after her and ask her out.  That smile was the difference in being strangers whose paths momentarily crossed to now partners who lives are intertwined.

Tahani and Derek wanted to choose a photography location that was cool, sexy and editorial so we started at the Crimson Lounge.  I love the juxtaposition that was created with the dreamy winter photos we took at Lincoln Park.

I am obsessed with this story.  It is a true fairy tale, and Tahani is royalty and Derek is her true prince charming and I am beyond honored to be part of their happily ever after!

I have known Crystal for almost a decade, and I have always known her to be kind, witty and beyond stunning, however I have never seen her as happy as she is with her soon-to-be husband Paolo.  Together, they are a couple with an infectious laugh and happiness, the kind of people you just want to be around.  I am so happy that you each found your forever, and I know your June wedding will be nothing less than perfection.

Elizabeth and Bret married in November and it couldn’t have turned out to be a more beautiful winter day.  They married at the beautiful Assumption church and after heading over to the Trump/Wrigley area to get some pretty evening portraits.  They have so much fun together and make each other smile, which is something that can be attributed to knowing each other for a long time.  They grow up in the same neighborhood, but work took Elizabeth family out of the country and also away from Bret.  Years later they reconnected and the rest is history, now they are best friends, soul mates and partners for life.
